Be sure to check out her Chincoteague Pony History and Sarah Boudreau Equestrian Art pages to get to know her better! The Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Department's Fall foal auction was held online November 17-21, 2023. Only two foals were born, the high bid was $4,100 and the low bid was $3,000.
That's right folks! We are celebrating 2 years of registering ponies! We want to take a moment to recap the growth and activities we have participated in this past year.
Check out this post for photos of all the foals that were sold at the 2023 Pony Penning auction held on July 27 by the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company in Chincoteague, Virginia. There was in-person and simultaneous online bidding available.
The results were - 71 ponies (including 7 buybacks) sold - $479,000 total in sales (record) - average cost per foal $6,792 - high bid $42,000 (buyback)(record) - low bid $1,800 The auction is today and starts at 8am. ICPAR and the Chincoteague Pony Pedigree Database have a new FREE resource to download and print for those of you watching from home.
