The International Chincoteague Pony Association & Registry (ICPAR) opened October 1, 2021. We are dedicated to providing official documentation for the Chincoteague pony breed so that it can preserve past bloodlines, protect future bloodlines, and promote the breed to the public.

ICPAR is run by volunteer staff, all funds are used to help ICPAR grow and to promote the Chincoteague Pony breed.
ICPAR also partners with the Chincoteague Pony Pedigree Database a fantastic online database that traces the Chincoteague Pony bloodlines and The Colorful Chincoteague, a website that has years worth of research on the coat colors found within the Chincoteague Pony breed. |
Additionally, ICPAR is an accepted outcross breed of the Pinto Horse Association of America, Inc and are a breed alliance with the Western Dressage Association of America.
