About: At Rose of Sharon Ranch we are a full service equestrian center that offers boarding, lessons, colt starting and training (western disciplines), as well as mare and stallion reproduction services for all breeds of horses. We are excited to extend all of our services to current and perspective Chincoteague Pony owners as well as pony specific services such as trailering from Pony Penning back to Arkansas and surrounding areas as well as feral foal gentling. While our Chincoteague Ponies are too young for breeding right now, we are hoping to build a small breeding program in the future! 

​We are also home of the Reading Roundup Literacy Project which is a nonprofit organization where we fundraise to purchase copies of “Misty of Chincoteague” to donate to local 5th grade classes and then host a field trip on our ranch where these students will get hands on experience with the horses and ponies!
