Check out this post for photos of all the foals that were sold at the 2023 Pony Penning auction held on July 27 by the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company in Chincoteague, Virginia. There was in-person and simultaneous online bidding available.
The results were - 71 ponies (including 7 buybacks) sold - $479,000 total in sales (record) - average cost per foal $6,792 - high bid $42,000 (buyback)(record) - low bid $1,800 This post contains all of the July 2022 foal auction photos & the results of the Fall auction.
